The Amphitheater is a fantastic establishment located in the center of Arles. For a night, expect to pay 123 €, and the value for money is truly excellent.

Maison Douce Arles is very well located in the center of Arles, just 500 meters from the Arenas. The hotel features a beautiful terrace with a garden and offers lovely bright and well-decorated guest rooms. For about 140 € per night with breakfast, you will stay in a welcoming and warm setting!

Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre offers very beautiful elegant rooms in a historical building dating back to the 17th century. You will stay 200 meters from the Arles amphitheater and close to all shops. Expect to pay around 123 € for a night! The staff is also very attentive and friendly.

The Atrium hotel will be ideal for mid-range budgets. For about 92 € per night, you will sleep in a comfortable double room. In the city center, you will be close to all places of interest, bars, and restaurants in a peaceful setting! The owners are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

Considered the capital of the Camargue, Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer offers an exceptional setting for a typically beach experience. Incredible landscapes include beaches, the sea, and wild nature, as well as remarkable sites!

If you want to get away from the cities to recharge in a more natural environment, then staying in Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer to visit the Camargue is an excellent choice! Campsites, hotel rooms, guesthouses, and rentals of houses or apartments are available on site.

Among the must-do activities in Saintes, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea from the Church Terrace, take part in a refreshing walk between the sea and marsh by heading to the Digue à la Mer, a 12-kilometer trail from Saintes to the Gacholle lighthouse!

For bird enthusiasts, a visit to the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park will be welcome, while animal lovers can take a beautiful horseback ride to discover the beauty of the Camargue.

Located near the town of Arles and the Camargue regional natural park, Bellegarde is a beautiful destination to stay in the south of France. This base will allow you to stay in the heart of the Camargue nature while being close to remarkable places of interest, including the monuments of Arles!

Another advantage not to be overlooked is that Bellegarde is only a few minutes from Nîmes airport. If you come to the Camargue by plane, a TGV train departing from Manduel can take you to Bellegarde in about fifteen minutes, the town being located about 11 kilometers away.

So, what to do in Bellegarde near the Camargue? Firstly, discover the town, its inhabitants, its local specialties, and its terroir. You can hike along the yellow trail, stroll the marina, or even visit the market?

Very beautiful lakes are also nearby, among the most frequented are Lake Sautebraut, Lake Clairettes, and Lake Haut Broussan for jet skiing!

Marcelle en Camargue is a superb guesthouse with a large outdoor pool, fully equipped, with a very peaceful and warm ambiance. For around 164 € per night with breakfast included, you will enjoy a pleasant stay decorated with taste, with attentive and helpful hosts.

Where to stay in the Camargue? Why not stay in Grau du Roi? This town in the Petite Camargue, a former fishing village, is one of the most beautiful beach resorts in the Gard department!

Unsurprisingly, there are quite a few accommodation options for staying in the Camargue. Like most of the towns mentioned in this guide, you'll find campsites, hotels within the town, as well as guesthouses and rentals of apartments or houses for a more intimate stay. If you are looking for a specific area, I recommend the Port-Camargue neighborhood, the most touristic one!

The great advantage of Grau du Roi is that you can enjoy a beautiful seaside stay while being close to major tourist activities! Among the things to do, visit the Seaquarium, located 10 minutes away, or go to the manades that offer horseback rides in the Camargue.

The Café Miramar Hotel offers very nice spacious rooms, some of which share a superb view of the sea from the balcony. The overall atmosphere of the establishment is pleasant and warm, with a private beach, just 600 meters from the Seaquarium. Available from 92 € per night for two people.

The Splendid Camargue is a hotel complex located just 5 minutes from the beach! It offers modern and comfortable rooms, some with beautiful views of the sea. For about 100 € per night, you will enjoy an outdoor pool and a restaurant serving specialties made with local products.

Lastly, Saint Laurent d'Aigouze is another destination to prioritize when visiting the Camargue. This town is next to Aigues Mortes, making it an ideal location! By the way, the city is near the Gallargues highway exit, making it better positioned to explore the Camargue lands!

From Saint Laurent d'Aigouze, you can also easily reach Saintes-Maries de la Mer and Saint-Gilles, with less travel time which is a plus! If you are looking for a place to stay in Petite Camargue, this town is truly a must, with plenty of accommodations for all budgets.

Among the available activities, you can discover Camargue bull farms, especially at the Manade Saint-Louis, deeply rooted in traditions, and the Manade Agnel, which is available all year long.

You can also enjoy the pleasures of Indiana River, a leisure and adventure base, with various activities such as tree climbing, zip-lining, inflatable games, water slides, as well as pedal boat, paddle, and even canoe rentals for a treasure hunt on the water!
